But, one thing is common as both of these have acclaimed names behind them & actual film lovers would await eagerly to have a look. These are ‘Photograph’ & ‘Milan Talkies’.
‘Photograph’, is a film directed by ‘Ritesh Batra’, who came up with a masterpiece ‘Lunchbox’ in 2013, staring ‘Nawazudin’ & introduced ‘Nimrat Kaur’. The story was unusual where the lead actors fell in love but never get to meet each other.
The film won many awards in festivals abroad & ‘Ritesh’ craft was appreciated & also introduced ‘Nimrat’ as a very talented actor. ‘Photograph’s theme is altogether different & novel, Rafiq’ [‘Nawazudin’] is an improvised street photographer looking for work, one day he happens to run into ‘Miloni’ [‘Sanya Malhotra’] at ‘Gateway of India’ & coaxes her to pose for him. Slowly, romance develops between them but they both come from different backgrounds as ‘Miloni ‘is a CA student form a upper class background & she has to put in a act as ‘Rafiq’ fiancee to please his grandmother who wishes to see him get married before she dies. How the story moves further forms the climax of the story.
‘Milan Talkies’ is directed by ‘Tigmanshu Dhulia’, the man behind ‘Saheb Biwi Gangster’, ‘Bullet Raja’, Paan Singh Tomar’ etc. He is also a very talented actor, having given a sterling performance in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
